Capitol Quartet presents an innovative and exciting saxophone quartet version of Gershwin’s epic concerto Rhapsody in Blue. The piano solo part is cleverly and faithfully rendered by the FOUR SAXES of the CAPITOL QUARTET.

Orchestration may be standard version rented by the orchestra, or Capitol Quartet version (closely based on Whiteman version) at no charge. No additional saxophones are needed in this orchestration.

Rhapsody in Blue may be programmed as a stand-alone work, or as selection within our Classical Makeover or Swingsational shows.
